HELLA is recognized as one of the TOP 10 Suppliers of the Year for Digital Keys and Body Control Modules in China

Shanghai, 6 September 2023. HELLA, the automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA, is recognized as one of the 10 Suppliers of the Year in the fields of digital keys and body control module (BCM) for its comprehensive strength and excellent performance in the data representation of the launched car models in China in 2022 and 2023. The award is presented by Gaogong AI, a leading local industry media and consulting agency in China. The result is mainly based on the comprehensive assessment of production share, product competitiveness, and the number of launched vehicles.

With respect to digital keys, HELLA offers customers multi-technology solutions and customizable car access systems, including Smart Car Access based on Bluetooth technology and NFC, as well as high-precision Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology which was first introduced to the market in 2019. This breakthrough didn't just stop at car access; HELLA's UWB technology has also enabled the development of crucial add-on features by utilizing the already integrated UWB anchors. In terms of body control systems, HELLA provides efficient and reliable body control modules for vehicle manufacturers with its rich experience and leading technology. HELLA's pioneering Intelligent Power Distribution Module (iPDM) with integrated electronic fuse has been recognized as a finalist in the prestigious 2023 Automotive News PACE pilot program. This achievement solidifies the iPDM's position as the newest and most groundbreaking innovation, promising to redefine power distribution for the future vehicle architecture. With the introduction of the iPDM with integrated eFuses, HELLA further strengthening the commitment to excellence in the domain of body control, pushing the boundaries of efficiency, safety, and intelligence for a service-oriented vehicle architecture.
