Smart Vehicle Access System
The FORVIA HELLA Smart Vehicle Access System offers digital vehicle access via smartphone. Users are localized and the vehicle is accessed via Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE). The connectivity ECU enables the vehicle doors to be locked and unlocked as well as engine start release without a key.
User detection can be adapted to a distance of up to 10 meters. A welcome function, such as the vehicle lighting or the horn, can also be individually programmed. Our technology recognizes your smartphone and automatically activates the desired functions.
It is not possible to start the vehicle unintentionally, as the engine can only be started when the driver is in the vicinity of the dirver´s seat. The vehicle locks automatically when the programmed distance is exceeded.
Another advantage: vehicle owners can assign access permissions to other users online and thus allows intelligent control of shared usage.
The user keys can contain properties such as the expiration date or specific vehicle functions.
