Underride guard
Rear-end collisions in which smaller vehicles crash into large trucks or trailers often end in disaster. That is why underride protection for trucks and trailers is mandatory. In the event of an accident, this underride guard is designed to prevent cars or motorcycles from sliding under larger vehicles and causing serious injuries to the occupants.
The underride protection from HELLA easily meets these requirements. The component is made of durable aluminium and is available with two different brackets and track width from 750 mm up to 1.400 mm so that it can be fitted to vehicles with different chassis measurements.
On request, the underride guard can also be equipped with customisable hole pattern, painted in various RAL colours and fitted with a rubber spray flap. The product thus offers the right solution for every customer.
