“I am studying industrial engineering, majoring in production technology and supply chain management at TU Ilmenau. After completing several internships in the automotive industry I wanted to write my master’s thesis in this same area, and then I saw an online job advert that drew my attention to HELLA. Now I’m writing my master’s thesis here, which deals with developing a production process to integrate a new foil into rear lights for cars. My thesis considers two different methods. The suitability of these processes for a production application is determined by performing various tests and comparing the results.
