Shanghai, 18 October 2024. Beijing HELLA BHAP Lighting, a joint venture of the international automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA and BHAP, a subsidiary of the BAIC Group, celebrates its 10th anniversary. Established in 2014, Beijing HELLA BHAP Lighting set up its first production facility in the same year in Sanhe, Hebei Province. Currently, the company operates across five locations in Beijing, Sanhe, Tianjin, Changzhou, and Wuhan, comprising three manufacturing plants, one R&D center and one sales company. This network of R&D and manufacturing facilities spans key automotive industry clusters across the country, providing products and services to numerous leading local and international automobile manufacturers. The company has around 1,400 employees, including 200 employees dedicated to R&D activities.

After a decade of successful development, Beijing HELLA BHAP Lighting has achieved significant accomplishments in technological innovation, manufacturing capabilities, and market expansion. In terms of technological innovation, the company has transitioned from a supplier of work lamps to a leading supplier of comprehensive automotive lighting solutions. Currently, the company offers the full range of automotive lighting products, including headlamps, rear lamps, front signature lamps, and interior lighting. In the manufacturing domain, Beijing HELLA BHAP Lighting has continuously enhanced its production capabilities, with leading manufacturing technologies implemented in its plants in Sanhe (Hebei), Wuqing (Tianjin), and Changzhou (Jiangsu). In regards to market expansion, HELLA BHAP Lighting has grown its customer base from local truck users to leading local and international automobile manufacturers, demonstrating strong market competitiveness.
