The following errors or error messages may occur in the above-mentioned vehicles:
- Engine control lamp lights up
- Pre-glow control lamp lights up
- Significantly reduced engine power
- Engine in emergency mode
- Error code P062B stored in engine control unit
In order to remedy this, all system-relevant components, the battery and the vehicle electrical system voltage should be checked. In addition, the error memories are to be read out/deleted. If this does not lead to the desired success, a software update of the engine control unit can be carried out to eliminate the problem. In such a case, it is advisable to contact a VW workshop.
