Volvo V60: engine stalls after cold start with slight pressure on the accelerator pedal

If no clear mechanical or electrical fault can be attributed to the error mentioned above during vehicle diagnostics, one possible cause is a software error in the engine control unit. In this case, the software version must be checked and updated if necessary.

IMPORTANT

The problem has been identified by the vehicle manufacturer and rectified by upgrading the control unit software. In the event of a repair, please contact an authorized dealer. This defect may also occur in other models with the same type of engine.
