Defective oil pressure sensor
Probably due to a defective oil pressure sensor, no warning message is issued when the oil level is low in the above vehicles.
If the oil level is too low, the engine may stall suddenly during driving (this significantly increases the risk of an accident).
The vehicle manufacturer has already addressed the issue and notified the owners of all the affected models.
For various reasons, however, it can be assumed that not all vehicles have been inspected and repaired.
The specialist garage will perform a software update on the affected vehicles in order to remedy the issue.
