Steering angle sensor cannot be calibrated.
If the steering angle sensor cannot be calibrated with the diagnostics device in the above vehicle, the following procedure may be successful.
· Disconnect the battery.
· Wait for 5minutes.
· Remove the steering wheel.
· Align the steering angle sensor (centre position).
· Install the steering wheel.
· Connect the battery.
Then the calibrate using the diagnostics device.
Follow also the installation and removal instructions and the safety regulations when handling airbag systems of the vehicle manufacturer.
