Poor engine performance / Final speed is not achieved
In the above vehicles, an improperly tuned engine software may be the cause they are not able to reach their final speed. The customer may also complain about the performance of the engine.
The affected vehicles are those having VINs starting at: B1000001
The vehicle manufacturer is already aware of the problem and is providing modified software as a remedy.
The new software has been used at the factory in new vehicles since February 2012.
