Vauxhall Corsa C - Instrument display with intermittent loss of function | HELLA

If a malfunction or intermittent failure of the instrument display (which remains until the next ignition cycle) while driving is complained at for these vehicles, a possible source of fault is the earth connection.

Check the chassis earth point in the engine room (see photo). Check here that the cap nut is tightened and the cable connections are corrosion-free and tight.

If the earth cable connections are loose, install an additional spring washer/circlip to secure the attachment of the earth connection.
