Turn signal failure check

In the above vehicles, the turn signal failure check may be affected by a "software error".

The problem affects the software of the body control module - BCM. This may result in the driver information system not being able to detect or indicate a possible failure of the turn signals.

The vehicle manufacturer has already recognized the problem and taken corrective action as part of a service action by which the BCM software will be updated.

It is assumed that not all vehicles will have undergone the service action for various reasons.

Please note this information in the wake of complaints regarding the turn signal failure check.
