Parking aid beeps without obstacle
On the vehicles mentioned above, the parking aid can activate without there being an obstacle. Sometimes, this suddenly causes acoustic warning signals to sound.
If other causes (electrical components/sensors) can be ruled out as faults, there is probably a defect in the parking aid control unit. This should be replaced to rectify the problem. Contacting a Toyota dealership is advisable.
