Warning message "Hybrid system error" with error code P1CCC

With the vehicle mentioned above, it can happen that a warning message is issued in connection with the hybrid system. The error message appears in the instrument cluster: "Fault in the vehicle electrical system, voltage converter". The system prompts the driver to bring the vehicle to a standstill. The code P1CCC is then often stored in the error memory (faulty ground connection).

This may be caused by unsuitable fastening screws on the DC/DC converter. These lead to high contact resistances with the corresponding error messages being sent.

In order to remedy this, the 4 screws (A) should be replaced with a modified variant (T9011-908C9-200).

Make sure the screws are firmly seated and that there are no signs of corrosion.
