Crankshaft sensor

On vehicles with OM 629 engines, the possibility exists that there is a loss of engine power. The reason for this may be an electrical interruption in the crankshaft sensor.

The vehicle manufacturer is already aware of the problem. As part of a service campaign, the vehicles will be checked and the crankshaft sensors will be replaced.

Nevertheless, one may assume that for various reasons not all vehicles have been checked and repaired.
