ABS / ESP control lamp is on + error code C1606
On the vehicle mentioned above, it is possible that the ABS/ESP control lamp suddenly lights up. Often the error code C1606 (ECU/software error) is then stored in the control unit. A software update can be carried out, for example, via Hella-Gutmann macsRemote Services or by using a pass-through-capable diagnostic device from the mega macs series.
