Hyundai Santa FE: error code C1274 - "Acceleration sensor function faulty"

If the defect mentioned above is detected, it may also be related to a defective ABS sensor ring. The ABS control unit constantly compares and evaluates the values of the acceleration sensor and wheel speed sensors. If the error code mentioned above is stored in the control unit, this can also mean that there are implausible parameters.

 

In this case, one possible cause could be a broken ABS sensor ring on the drive shaft. A faulty signal is transmitted from the wheel speed sensor to the control unit at the affected axle. In this case, a signal comparison for all wheel speed sensors should be included as part of the diagnostics.
