Tyre pressure monitoring system failed

The tyre pressure monitoring system may fail on the above-mentioned vehicle model.

The remote control receiver is installed behind the C-pillar side panel in the luggage compartment on the right.

To replace the receiver, proceed as follows:

  • Remove the C-pillar panel in the luggage compartment using a suitable tool in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
  • Remove the expanding rivet (Fig. A) using a suitable tool
  • Loosen the plug connection on the component
  • Remove receiver

Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Once the cause of the fault has been rectified, delete the error memory. Finally, the tyre pressure monitoring system is to be re-initialised on a test drive.

IMPORTANT
Please always follow the repair instructions from the vehicle manufacturer when carrying out such work.
