On the above-mentioned vehicles, the control lamp, which signals the failure of a bulb (light bulb) may suddenly light up. A visual inspection of the lighting equipment on the vehicle, however, does not reveal any defect.
In the above-mentioned vehicles, it may be possible that the engine starts poorly or not at all. The engine control lamp and/or the preheater control lamp will light up in this process. An engine power loss can be observed at the same time. Fault codes P062B and 20EE may be stored in the fault memory.
Function and assembly of the alternator freewheel clutch
Technical product information
During an engine's combustion cycle, the rotary movement of the crankshaft is sped up and slowed down This rotational irregularity is transferred to the accessory drive as a result of the alternator's moment of inertia.
If the above-mentioned defect is detected, it may be related to a defect in the vacuum system responsible for controlling the vacuum actuator (Fig. 1).
With the above-mentioned vehicle, the reversing warning system (parking aid) may suddenly fail. The error message "System not available" appears in the display. And often then the "start/stop" function also no longer works.
If unusual noises are heard from the engine compartment of the above-mentioned vehicle, the cause could be a faulty electric coolant pump. Often the error code P2600 (coolant pump) is also stored in the control unit.
The floating-type calliper, also known as a floating calliper, is one of the most frequently used brake callipers in vehicles. A special feature here is that the brake calliper can be moved by means of guide bolts. This type of mounting is also referred to as floating mounting. When the brake is applied, the brake piston presses against the inner brake pad and presses this against the brake disc.
If the above-mentioned set of error symptoms is detected in connection with error code P0201 (Fig. 1), a possible cause may be a contact fault on the multi-connectors on the injection system harness.
When manoeuvring/parking or driving over bumps, the above-mentioned vehicles may make crackling and/or clicking noises. Searching for the cause of this can sometimes be very difficult.
The following problem is observed in the vehicles mentioned above: Vehicle steering sluggish. The reason for this is an insufficient plug connection between the steering angle sensor and the wiring harness (see figure).
Vehicle headlamps focus the light beams generated by the light source onto the road. On this page, find out about the structure of headlamps, and what lighting technology concepts and legal regulations there are, amongst other things. Here you can also find useful practical tips for dealing with plastic cover lenses.
A defective plastic hose of the vent valve on the engine (Fig. 1) can be the cause of rough engine running in the above-mentioned vehicle. Sucking in "false air" can also cause problems with the exhaust emission test.
