Electromechanical horn M26

The best sound experience - that's what the M26 horn provides. A particularly audible signal is necessary to effectively warn other road users in dangerous situations. By installing a set of high and low tones, you get an optimal sound color. The Teflon pill and a membrane provide protection against moisture penetration. It is also protected against corrosion.

 

The M26 horn is operated by the battery current or a control current coming from the steering wheel. This is passed through a relay to generate a voltage-free control current.

The control current activates the signal horn's electromagnet. This in turn attracts a metal core or armature and then the steel diaphragm of the horn. The sound is generated by the fact that the power supply is interrupted when the diaphragm is attracted, and the armature and diaphragm return to their original position.
