Twice as powerful: The HELLA LED licence plate lamp with rear fog light for 12 respectively 24 V environments combines two light functions in one compact, central module.
The rear fog lamp integrated into the licence plate lighting module eliminates the need to cover this light function with the rear lamp. This can result in cost advantages – as can the durable and energy-efficient LED technology, which offers a long operating life in line with the guiding principle of “fit and forget”. Powerful LEDs make the vehicle licence plate optimally visible to other road users while the rear fog lamp produces a bright, clearly perceptible light pattern when in operation.
The EMC-tested licence plate lamp with integrated rear fog lamp is ECE-approved. The black 24 V version also has GGVS/ADR approval for dangerous goods transport. Both variants are dustproof and resistant to high-pressure jet cleaner resistant in accordance with protection classes IP X9K and IP 6K7, and can also withstand temporary submersion underwater.
The central module is mounted centrally on the rear of the vehicle and fastened with screws. The electrical connection is made via a 3-pin AMP-SUPERSEAL connector with 1,600 mm cable (black version) respectively 175 mm (white version).
