HELLA in Korea

HELLA Korea Inc. (HKI) in Seoul supports all HELLA Business Divisions – Lighting, Electronics, Aftermarket & Special Applications – in dealing with Korean customers that supply both the Korean and global market. HELLA started Sales and Applications Engineering activities in Korea in 1996. In 2000 HELLA established the joint venture HSL Electronics with Samlip (now SL Corp.) in Daegu and successfully produced lighting & electronics products until 2019.

In 2008 a second Joint Venture was incorporated in Korea together with Mando Corp. Focus of Mando HELLA Electronics (MHE – 1,400 employees) is the development and production of driver assistance systems, steering, and braking systems electronics

HELLA is aiming to expand its presence to the Korean automotive market with tailored solutions in the trend areas of Connectivity, Automated Driving and Electrification.
