With the above-mentioned vehicle, the reversing warning system (parking aid) may suddenly fail. The error message "System not available" appears in the display. And often then the "start/stop" function also no longer works.
If unusual noises are heard from the engine compartment of the above-mentioned vehicle, the cause could be a faulty electric coolant pump. Often the error code P2600 (coolant pump) is also stored in the control unit.
The floating-type calliper, also known as a floating calliper, is one of the most frequently used brake callipers in vehicles. A special feature here is that the brake calliper can be moved by means of guide bolts. This type of mounting is also referred to as floating mounting. When the brake is applied, the brake piston presses against the inner brake pad and presses this against the brake disc.
If the above-mentioned set of error symptoms is detected in connection with error code P0201 (Fig. 1), a possible cause may be a contact fault on the multi-connectors on the injection system harness.
If the error message "SCBS / City emergency stop assistant forward gear malfunction" is displayed on the instrument cluster on the vehicle models mentioned above, one cause for this may be a defective boost pressure sensor.
On the vehicles mentioned above, the outside mirrors may not fold in when the vehicle is locked with the remote control. Furthermore, the locking function may be impaired when using the remote control.
Signal lights have an important safety function. They demonstrate deceleration and a change in direction of the vehicle, and make the vehicle more visible to other road users when it is dark or during poor visibility.
The vehicles mentioned above may vibrate and make noise when accelerating, braking or starting. The knocking sounds are perceived as coming from the engine compartment.
In the vehicles mentioned above with air conditioning, the air flow from the air outlet nozzles may be impaired. Possibly the air flow to the footwell is permanently present and/or the air flow at the dashboard nozzles is insufficient.
If this defect is detected in the vehicle model mentioned above, a possible cause could be a defective connector on the body computer in the front left footwell.
Since an internal combustion engine cannot start by itself, a functioning starter is essential for a roadworthy vehicle. Malfunctions can be caused, for example, by incorrect connections, faulty solenoid switches or a damaged single-pinion gear.
