ABS warning light illuminates

Error code: 21248/ 21249/ 21252

Brake pressure sensor faulty

If one of the above error codes is discovered together with an illuminated ABS warning light, this may be due to a faulty brake pressure sensor. A signal evaluation error results in an error being entered in the control unit.

As it is not possible to take measurements on the sensor itself, the power supply and the peripheral equipment of the ABS system should be checked first.

If all measured values correspond to the setpoints, the pressure sensor must be replaced.

Repair note

The pressure sensor is integrated in the ABS hydraulic unit.

In the case of damage, the entire ABS hydraulic unit must be replaced.
