Loss of power and an additional stored error code P0093 on the Nissan Navara may be caused by the following

A loss of engine power and rough idling in the vehicles mentioned above may be caused by defective injection valves. An additional stored error code P0093 indicates that there is a pressure drop in the fuel system.

 

The following steps should be taken to rectify the problem:

  • Check fuel lines and fuel filters and replace if necessary
  • Check fuel pressure, pressure regulator and injector nozzles using a diagnostic device
  • Inspect the catalytic converter for damage caused by unburnt fuel
  • Replace defective components
  • Clear fault memory
