Recall campaigns: condensation leads to short circuits
In the above-mentioned vehicles, incorrectly routed condensation water drain hoses of the air-conditioning system can cause a variety of electronic problems. If misdirected condensation water in the interior of the vehicle comes into contact with electrical components, this can lead to leakage currents and/or short circuits. If vehicles with such problems present themselves at the workshop, please bear this information in mind and check whether the recall has been carried out in your area. If necessary, contact the vehicle manufacturer or a workshop authorised by the said manufacturer.
