Lighting up of the engine warning light.

If complaints are made about the above-mentioned error and the engine goes into limp-home mode, the following fault codes could also be stored in the engine control unit.

Fault code:

- P0140

- P0571

- P0600

- P2101

A possible cause here is a too low battery voltage when starting the engine.

Remedial action involves checking/charging the battery or, if necessary, replacing it with a new one.

Finally the entries in the fault code memory are to be deleted with the appropriate diagnostic tool.
