Returning side direction indicator to good working order

If the above-mentioned vehicle is found to have a defect in the additional side direction indicator (Fig.1) or in the bulb holder, this must be repaired as follows.

  • Switch off the electrical system.
  • Press the direction indicator forward against the retaining clip, see arrow direction (Fig.2); and remove it from its opening in the wing.
  • Remove the housing from the bulb holder (Fig.3).
  • Replace light source if necessary (Fig.3).
  • Carry out performance check (Fig.4).
  • Then remount the parts in reverse order.
