Brake fluid pressure sensor
If the error code listed above is discovered together with an illuminated ESP indicator lamp, this may be due to a defective brake fluid pressure sensor. A fault with signal plausibility in pressure evaluation could, in such a case, lead to the entering of an error in the control unit.
As it is not possible to take measurements on the sensor itself, first of all check the power supply and the peripheral equipment of the ESP system. If all the test results
correspond to the set values, the pressure sensor is the probable cause and should be replaced.
Repair note
The brake fluid pressure sensor is mounted inside the hydraulic unit and cannot be replaced as a single item.
Therefore, in the event of any damage occurring, the complete ABS/ESP hydraulic unit has to be replaced.
