Noise from the rear-wheel brakes following longer braking phases
The above vehicle models may generate vibration noises at the rear axle following longer braking phases.
Cause
Oscillations at the brake caliper can cause the brake pad to vibrate.
Remedy
In such cases, the vehicle manufacturer can provide vibration-absorbing weights. These weights suppress unwanted vibrations, and are mounted directly on the brake caliper.
Fiat offers a suitable parts kit under the part number 77364395.
