Function restriction caused by seat adjustment
If the driver's seat is moved to the forward-most position right up to the end stop on the above-mentioned vehicle model, this can lead to limited function of the handbrake lever.
Cause
One possible cause of this may be too long actuation travel or incorrect basic setting of the handbrake mechanism.
Remedy
We recommend the following basic setting:
the handbrake’s lever travel should be set so that the locking limit is reached between 3-7 detents.
