Vibrations and noises occur during the driving of a Renault Megane IV

With such a repair job, the customer complains that vibrations and noises, starting at the front axle, can be heard during driving of the vehicle. On a test drive it was discovered that vibrations, together with a rattling noise, were present during power transmission to the drive axle. The cause of the above-mentioned problem is a too low / an insufficient oil level for the automatic mode.

Remedy: Replenish the automatic transmission oil.

So as to avoid contamination of the fresh oil with residues of the used oil remaining in the system, it is imperative to flush out the gearbox with a suitable servicing and cleaning machine. An update of the transmission software is also to be carried out as part of this procedure. Finally a test drive should be performed in order to run checks on the repair work.
