Faulty CAN communication

If the error mentioned above is identified in conjunction with an illuminated ABS warning light, a faulty power supply to the ABS/ESP control unit may be one possible cause.

In this case, verify that the power supply, plug connections and wiring on the ABS control unit are faultless.

Repair note

In this situation, check the vehicle battery at the same time. A faulty or exhaustively discharged battery may also be the cause of the error.
