Opel Adam - engine cuts out

The following symptoms may occur in the above-mentioned vehicles due to faulty engine control unit software:

• Engine cuts out after cold start
• Engine cuts out when disengaging the clutch in coasting mode

In an effort to rule out other causes, check all possible system components and read out/delete the fault memory.

If no errors are identified, update the engine control unit software. We advise to contact an Opel workshop for this purpose.
