Noises in the circulating air flap
With the above-mentioned vehicle, crackling or clicking noises can occur around the evaporator unit. These noises can very well be caused by the springs on the circulating air flap.
The following steps should be taken to rectify the problem:
- Remove the cover below the dashboard
- Dismantle the glove compartment
- Remove the old springs from the circulating air flap
- Mount the new springs (A2048310079) and grease the fastening points
- Carry out performance check
- Reassemble glove compartment and replace cover
