Citroen C4 Picasso - Engine will not start | HELLA
Citroen
C4 Picasso and Grand Picasso
Starting from model year 2006
All vehicles with a sequential manual gearbox
Engine will not start
If a customer complains about the above error, this could be caused by a defective plug connection. Due to poor contacting, the display indicates drive position "A1" in the cockpit, although the selector lever is in neutral position. As a result, the engine will not start. In addition, error codes for the manual gearbox may be stored. In this case, flawless contact between the drive position switch and the multi-contact plug must be tested; see figure1 and 2. If the plug socket has been disengaged, secure fit must be permanently established.
