The aforementioned vehicles may experience premature failure of the light source for the headlamps.
This may be caused by voltage peaks in the vehicle electrical system. Before proceeding further, the output voltage of the alternator should be checked. If this matches the vehicle manufacturer's specifications, a "voltage peak throttle" can be installed.
This "filters out" the voltage peaks and helps to extend the service life of the light source.
