The alignment

The digital targets are aligned to the geometrical driving axle (rear axle) of the vehicle, as usual, using the SE wheel sensors with line lasers and the mirrors on the CSC-Tool Digital. The height adjustment as well as the distance measurement are more elegant: the app-supported distance measurement is carried out by a new, special wheel sensor in interaction with a new laser range finder attached to the mirror beam. The actual values can be read immediately on the screen. Two electromechanical lifting columns adjust the height of the screen via a pushbutton.

The projection

Hella Gutmann provides digital large-format calibration targets for front cameras. They're projected onto the projection surface of the CSC-Tool in the workshop using the associated short-distance projector.

This ensures that we adhere to the original size of the targets and the distances, working according to OE specifications.

The calibration

The actual calibration process is carried out in the usual manner in conjunction with the mega macs diagnostic device
All other calibrations, for example of the front radar, laser scanner (lidar) and environmental systems, are carried out in the same way as with the CSC-Tool SE.
