Renewing the starter is quite challenging at first because of its limited accessibility. Proceed as follows to remove starter:

• Remove ground connection of the battery (note the radio code if necessary)
• Raise vehicle on a lifting platform

Replacing the cabin filter is a little complex. It is located in the left-hand area of the passenger footwell. In order to access it, the glove compartment has to be removed.

In the vehicles mentioned above with manual air conditioning, the interior blower may only operate at the highest level (maximum fan speed). This is usually an indication that the blower regulator (resistor) is defective.
