1. Working area and light distribution

HELLA work lamps offer various illumination options that are tailored to suit specific working conditions. Consequently, we offer work lamps for both close-range and also long-range illumination.

2. Light output and brightness

Decisive factors in the selection process include light output and brightness. HELLA uses the actual, measured lumen specification here instead of calculated values, a modus operandi which guarantees reliable light output.

3. Mounting options for work lamps

The work lamps offer a wide range of mounting options so as to meet different requirements. They can be mounted either upright or pendant, options which make for flexibility in installation.

4. It all depends on choosing the right size

The housing sizes for each application can range from small, compact models, measuring around 70 mm x 72 mm, right up to the option of larger light bars.

HELLA work lamps have ECE R10 approval, which ensures that the lamps comply with electromagnetic compatibility requirements (EMC). This means that the lamps do not interfere with the functioning of other electronic devices and are themselves insensitive to electromagnetic influences. The protection classes of work lamps in accordance with the IP standard (International Protection) provide information regarding protection given against dust and water. The most common protection classes for HELLA work lamps are:

IP 6K7: dust-tight, protection against temporary immersion in water.
IP 6K8: dust-tight, protection against permanent immersion.
IP 6K9K: dust-tight, protection against water during high-pressure jet/steamjet cleaning.

6. Energy efficiency

HELLA work lamps champion modern LED technology, which not only offers high light output but also outstanding energy efficiency. LEDs convert a large proportion of the energy into light, a process which reduces electricity consumption.
