VW / Seat / Skoda - control lamp bulb lights up

On the above-mentioned vehicles, the control lamp, which signals the failure of a bulb (light bulb) may suddenly light up. A visual inspection of the lighting equipment on the vehicle, however, does not reveal any defect. In certain cases, this information can also apply to other vehicle makes.
