Bulb replacement H7

On the above-mentioned vehicles, bulbs for halogen headlamps can be replaced as follows:

 

  • Switch off the ignition
  • Disconnect the headlamp from the power supply by unplugging the electrical supply line
  • Loosen and remove the two fastening screws (Fig. 1) (for a more convenient removal of the headlamp, a part of the lock support can also be dismantled by removing all 6 screws)
  • Carefully pull out the headlamp towards the front (in the direction of travel), taking care not to damage the paint on the bumper
  • Access the bulb by removing the protective cap at the back
  • Hold the bulb fitting with 2 fingers and turn it anticlockwise (Fig. 2)
  • Take out bulb
  • Remove bulb from fitting (Fig. 3)
  • Place new bulb into the fitting.  Important: Do not touch the glass section of the bulb!
  • Refit the bulb and headlamp in reverse order
  • Check functioning
  • Check headlamp setting
