Stop light permanently on
Cruise control sporadically not functioning
If the above-mentioned problem is detected, one possible cause may be incorrect adjustment / positioning of the stop-lamp switch.
This can cause the stop lamp to light up permanently without the brake having to be applied.
The error code C0161 can also be stored in the ECU.
Remedy:
Check functioning of the stop-lamp switch and readjust if necessary. In the event of malfunctioning, replace the stop-lamp switch and position it correctly.
Also read out the error code memory in the ECU and delete stored errors.
