Flashing coolant control lamp

The coolant temperature warning light may suddenly flash on the vehicles listed above. Code P00B7 (engine coolant flow insufficient) is stored in the error memory.

The cause may be an insufficient delivery rate of the coolant pump (in certain operating situations).

To remedy the fault, a modified coolant pump (55579016) should be installed.

Vehicles from model year 2013 already have a modified coolant pump.
