Vauxhall Corsa C - Interior heating does not work | HELLA

Vauxhall

Corsa C

Model year: 2005 to 2006

With automatic air-conditioning (ECC) and Triple Info Display (TID)

Interior heating does not work

On the above mentioned vehicles it may occur that

the heating system/ air-conditioning system only produces cold air for a few minutes after starting the engine. The fault mostly occurs if the exterior temperature is below 6°C and the vehicle is started again within 2 hours (of parking it).

A "hardware bug" may be the cause.

As a result the ECC detects an excessively high exterior temperature and tries to cool instead of heat.

To rectify the problem the triple info display should be replaced with a modified variant and new software installed.

Vehicles from chassis no. W0L0XCF0866074319

already have modified hardware and software from the factory.
