Vauxhall Astra-J Sports Tourer: display code 16

Code 16 appears on the display (Fig.1) with information, see operating instructions. Error code Diagnosegerät_B3881 corresponds to faulty tail light lamp or circuit.

Check light functions and, in this case, replace the stop light bulb. To do this, open the rear interior trim and loosen the two wing nuts (Fig.2). Then remove the rear lamp from the vehicle body towards the rear.

Replace P21W bulb (Fig.3). Check plug contacts for corrosion.

If necessary, delete the error message stored in the control unit via the diagnostic device. Reassemble in reverse order.
