Delayed warning tones for the parking aid.
If it is reported that warning, indicator or parking aid tones are providing delayed notification for these vehicles, a deviation in the software should be considered as a potential cause.
Radio models affected with delayed tone playback for indicators and the parking aid: CD300; CD400; CDC400.
The vehicle manufacturer has already recognized the problem and has corrected it using a software update. It must be assumed, however, that for a variety of reasons not all vehicles have been checked or repaired.
Improved software has been in use at the vehicle manufacturer since August 2012.
