Navigation display malfunctions

The following problem is observed on the vehicles mentioned above. During navigation, the display may malfunction (e.g. delayed image display). A pinched/damaged roof antenna cable was diagnosed as the cause of this malfunction. The cable may get trapped between the antenna base plate and the roof plate during installation. This can lead to interruptions in the cable, causing the malfunctions mentioned above. Please proceed as follows to rectify the problem.

  • Remove the roof antenna in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
  • Check the cable for damage and replace the antenna if necessary (OE No. 39253-68L21-000)
  • Install the roof antenna in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, making sure to lay the antenna cable properly.
