Problem
The airbag monitoring lamp lights up. In an extreme case, the airbag(s) is/are activated.
Possible causes
- In case of accumulation of water in the footwell: Defective outflow of condensation water from the air conditioner.
- If the airbag monitoring lamp lights up: Water in the airbag control device.
Remedy
- Check and clean out the condensation water outflow; check the airbag control device for entry of water.
- Obtain further information on remedies from the auto manufacturer.
