Mazda 6 - Compressor malfunction | HELLA

If the compressor in one of the vehicles mentioned above malfunctions, the power supply to the magnetic clutch should be checked.

The electrical cable for the magnetic clutch power supply (+) is routed to the compressor through the engine block area.

Water leaking into the connector housing (figure) can cause corrosion to form. This can lead to contact problems or a power failure.

In order to remedy this issue, the damaged electrical connection should be renewed.
